Senior Director / Global Marketing / Automotive Audio / Lifestyle Division - Munich, 2016 to 2021

Working with a number of premium automotive partners such as Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes, MINI, smart and Volvo and implementing global marketing strategies and campaigns. Creation and management of a wide range of activities including key messaging, building brand partnerships, product launches,

Co-advertising, TVC, dealer campaigns, incentives, digital and social activation, implementation of marketing plans for new vehicle launches, organization of media events and dealer fairs and management of media cooperations.

Selected Achievements:

  • Significant role in expanding the OEM portfolio through the acquisition of key accounts including VW, Lynk&Co, Polestar and Renault

  • Management, expansion and development of the global marketing team, consisting of nine employees in Germany and Europe, who were responsible for the European automotive partners. Development of the strategic direction based on the company goals and customer needs in order to achieve individual and company goals.

  • Working closely with key clients in China to set the stage for branded audio business and develop plausible case for relevance of exclusive brands to the business.

Director / Global Marketing / Automotive Audio / Lifestyle Division - Munich, 2011 to 2016

Significant involvement in acquiring new customers such as BMW, smart, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Volvo, and McLaren.

Building solid business relationships with customers and their marketing contacts. Support and successful market launch of the British high-end brand Bowers&Wilkins at BMW as well as at Volvo, Maserati and McLaren, which helped to improve the OEM's brand position.

Development and implementation of innovative marketing, communication and product concepts to increase brand awareness. Observation of the entire market and competitive environment and the customer journey to assess the market and growth potential of new business areas.  

 

Selected Achievements:

  • Acquisition of six customers including BMW, smart, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Volvo and McLaren

  • Promoting awareness of Harman's partnerships and value propositions by running strong campaigns for OEM customers.

Director, Global Marketing Communications - Northridge / California, 2009 to 2011

Management of global communication platforms, including advertising, media planning and PR work, to increase brand relevance, attract and retain target groups.

Development and implementation of effective marketing plans in cooperation with local brand communication resources. Responsible for managing internal employee communications for Harman. Translating brand strategies into global communications in close collaboration with global marketing teams and design resources.

 

Selected Achievements:

  • Design and successful setup of the first Harman flagship store in Shanghai, China.

  • Head of a global Marketing Council with representatives from EMEA, USA, APAC and BRIC.

  • Development of new retail concepts and adaptation of concepts for optimized brand experiences in flagship stores in Dubai and New Delhi.

  • Creation and implementation of brand guidelines for Harman Kardon, JBL and AKG to optimize and standardize brand communication on a global level.
